Which Safety Training Does Your Crew Need?
The safety training courses your crew needs depend on the work you do, the hazards on site, and your industry. OSHA sets training requirements for many tasks, and some employers and site owners add their own.
Work at height points to fall protection. Forklift use calls for powered industrial truck training. Entering a tank or vault involves confined space training. Handling hazardous materials may call for HAZWOPER, and electrical work may call for NFPA 70E. First aid training suits workers who may need to respond to an injury.

Industries We Serve
Construction crews often need OSHA outreach, fall protection, aerial work platform, and excavation training. Oil and gas crews commonly work around hazardous materials, confined spaces, and electrical hazards, so those courses come up often.
General industry employers frequently need forklift, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens training. We can match these workplace safety classes to your site. Tell us about your work so we can point you to the right courses.
Why Train with Your Safety Department
Your Safety Department is an independent safety company based in Floresville, Texas. We are also a PEC-authorized training provider. We bring training to your location, so crews learn in their own work setting.

Onsite vs Scheduled Classes
Onsite safety training comes to your location. It suits employers who want a whole crew trained together in their own work setting, and it saves workers from traveling to a class. For forklift and aerial work platform classes, onsite sessions include familiarization with the specific equipment before use.
Scheduled classes suit individual workers and small teams who prefer to join an open session instead of hosting one. Check upcoming classes for dates, and read the cancellation policy before you register for a session.

Training Records and Wallet Cards
Auditors, clients, and site owners often ask for proof of training. Our Training Tracker Database keeps your safety training records in one place. It tracks expiry dates and sends reminders, so renewals do not slip by. You can assign training by department and role, and produce reports and transcripts for audits.
In the licensed version, your company owns its data. Workers can also use a YSD wallet card to keep a record of their training. Employers can see who has been trained and who is due for renewal. That helps employers keep records current for every crew. Learn more about training records for your safety training courses.
