Many workplaces contain spaces that are considered “confined” because their configuration hinders the activities of employees who must enter, work in, and exit them. The potential dangers and hazards associated with confined space entry are well know and well documented. Confined spaces pose a special and particular hazard to those employees that are required to work in them.
